I've always enjoyed working with children and diving in to new adventures. I moved to the East Coast from Wisconsin when I was 19 to become a live-in nanny for a family in Massachusetts.
It was a difficult transition at first, especially since I knew absolutely nobody when I moved there. I grew to love the East Coast and naturally, the family that I worked for!
I worked for the family again several years later, and now the sweet little boy that I cared for in 1994 is a young man. I still keep in touch and love to hear how they're doing.
Years later and many households later, I started my own family, but longed to service other families as well. That's when I became a Postpartum Doula. I have the pleasure of working with new parents, and now I get to put all of my experience and expertise to work in a different way.
It's so important for a couple with a newborn to have a reliable support system during the ever- changing journey into parenthood; especially during the fourth trimester!
I look forward to supporting, educating and sharing in the wonderfully amazing voyage of new parenthood with my clients.
